Tri-District Intergroup Central Office
Helping a local service organization make the everyday work easier.
I rebuilt the Tri-District Intergroup Central Office website to make local meeting information and recovery resources easier to navigate. The service project includes a Community Wall, a 7th Tradition page and ongoing event and content updates. I also helped set up PayPal retail POS and a receipt printer, replacing duplicate paper receipt forms with a simpler way to provide receipts.
What the work included

The project in context
This work brings together Build, Grow services around the needs of the business.
Small operational details matter, especially in a service organization. Moving from purchased duplicate receipt forms to a receipt printer reduced the recurring cost of paper and made the checkout routine more straightforward.
A practical improvement / Paper costs
A smaller paper bill.
Duplicate receipt forms
$1,500
per year
Receipt paper
$21–$30
every two years
About 99% lower paper costs when compared on an annual basis.
Based on the former $1,500 annual spend and my purchase of ten receipt rolls for about $21, expected to last two years. The new estimate is $10.50–$15 per year for paper. This comparison excludes the one-time printer purchase; paper prices and usage can change.
